Which one fits you

Free videos if you’re disciplined, have time to choose your own path, and mostly want the skill for yourself.

A self-paced course if you’re keeping your job or studies, want one route from zero to a finished site, and want the business side too.

A live cohort if you learn better with a group, a timetable and people to ask, and can give three sessions a week for a month.

A full-time bootcamp if you can stop work for a while, prefer a classroom every day, and the full cost makes sense for you.

Seven questions to ask any course before you pay

  1. What exactly will I have built, live on the internet, when I finish?
  2. Can I see a full lesson, or a whole module, before I pay?
  3. What is the full price, and what is the refund rule?
  4. Does it teach finding clients and pricing, or only the code?
  5. Is it taught for complete beginners, in plain English?
  6. Do I keep the material after I finish?
  7. Who answers when I'm stuck, and how fast?

Ask us too. Our answers are on the course page, and Module 0 is free to watch in full.

Questions

Can I learn web design from YouTube for free?

Yes, many people do. The hard parts are choosing what to watch next, finishing a whole project, and learning the business side, which free videos rarely cover. If you're disciplined and only want the skill, start there.

Is a bootcamp better than an online course?

Not by default. A bootcamp suits people who can stop work for weeks and learn best in a room. An online course suits people who need to keep their job and learn in the evenings. Compare what you'll build and the full cost.

Do I need a degree to work in web design?

Clients and many employers judge the work you can show them. A degree can help with some employers; live projects help with all of them.

Why is your course so much cheaper than a bootcamp?

It's self-paced and online, so there's no classroom to pay for every day. The cohort costs more because it adds live sessions with a group.
