Goal

Create a safe practice branch, then break your site three ways and read each error calmly: what went wrong, where, and which file and line to look at.

Why this matters

An error message looks like an attack. Red text, strange words, long lines of file paths. Your heart rate goes up and your eyes skip straight past it to "ask the AI".

But an error message isn't an attack. It's a note from your tools, telling you exactly what's wrong and where. Usually, the most useful information is in the first two lines. The rest is detail that's there in case you need it.

In this lesson you'll make three errors on purpose, in a safe copy of your project, so the first time you see each kind of error is when you chose to. That changes everything. An error you caused on purpose isn't scary; it's interesting. By the end, you'll have a three-question routine that works on any error you'll ever meet.
