Goal

Create the Stage 2 practice app, adjoas-kitchen, give Cursor its brief and rules, and build the dining room: a Home page, a Menu of six dishes and an Order form that looks finished but doesn't save anything yet.

Why this matters

In Module 7 you'll connect a real database. Before you can connect a kitchen, you need a dining room: pages for customers to see, and a form for them to fill in. That's what you'll build today.

You've built pages like these before, so most of this lesson will feel familiar. That's deliberate. New back-end ideas are much easier to learn on a project you already understand than on one where everything is new. The only new piece is the Order form, and even that is only the front end: when Ama taps Place order, a polite message tells her it doesn't save yet.

That message is your "before" picture. Take a good look at it. At the end of Module 7, the same button will save a real row in a real database, and you'll understand every step in between.

You'll also practise the professional habit of committing at each step. Five steps, five save points. If any step goes wrong, you can go back to the one before it in seconds.
