Read Tailwind class names
Read the Tailwind classes on any element (spacing, colour, type, layout and the md: screen-size prefixes), read your design system in globals.css, and spot styles the AI added that don't belong to it.
Why this matters
Look at any element in your site and you'll see something like this:
<section className="mx-auto max-w-6xl px-6 py-20 md:px-8 md:py-28">
To a beginner it looks like a password. To someone who knows the pattern, it reads like a sentence: "centre this, no wider than about 1,150 pixels, space at the sides and top, more space on bigger screens."
Learning to read these classes gives you three powers. You can tweak your design by hand, changing one number instead of writing a prompt. You can direct the AI precisely: "make the gap gap-8" leaves no room for guessing. And you can catch the AI breaking your design system, like a stray bg-blue-600 or a colour typed in as a hex code, which is exactly how AI-built sites drift from "designed" to "generic".
