The JavaScript and TypeScript you'll meet
Read the JavaScript and TypeScript in your components (values, variables, lists of objects, .map(), functions, imports and types) by turning your Services section into a typed list and editing that list by hand.
Why this matters
So far you've read the parts of your code that look like a web page: the tags and the classes. Around them is a third kind of code: JavaScript, the muscles. It's what turns a list of six dishes into six menu cards, sends an order to the database, and decides whether to show "Menu" or "Close" on a button.
In Stage 2, most of the new code Cursor writes will be JavaScript: reading dishes from a database, saving orders, sending emails, checking who's logged in. You won't write it yourself. But when Cursor says "I've added a function that saves the order", you need to be able to open the file, find that function and see roughly what it does.
Good news: you only need about a dozen ideas to read most of it. This lesson teaches those dozen, using your own Services section.
