Goal

Find out why an email didn't arrive in five minutes, by following its journey step by step: the inbox, Resend's records, your server's log, and your settings.

Why this matters

One day a client will message you: "The website stopped sending me orders!" It happens to every developer. Usually nothing is broken at all: the emails went to spam, or someone changed a setting. Sometimes a key was deleted, or a variable was never added to Vercel.

Beginners panic and start changing code. Professionals do the opposite: they don't touch anything until they know where the email stopped. Every email leaves a trail, and following that trail takes about five minutes. This lesson teaches you the trail, then has you practise it by breaking things on purpose, so the first time you need it isn't with a worried client on the phone.
