Goal

Offer three monthly care plans with clear limits, run a one-hour monthly maintenance routine for each client (updates, backups, checks, small changes), and send a short monthly report that shows the client what they're paying for.

Why this matters

A one-off website project pays you once. If every month you need to find new clients to pay your bills, you're always one quiet month away from trouble. Maintenance plans change that. Each client on a plan pays you a smaller amount every month, and those amounts add up. Five or ten clients on care plans can become a steady base under your project income.

It's also genuinely what clients need. A website isn't a printed brochure. Packages need security updates. The database needs backing up. Domains need renewing. Prices change, menus change, opening hours change. Without someone looking after it, a site slowly breaks, and the client only notices when a customer complains. In Module 10 you learned to keep a site safe. This lesson turns that skill into a service people pay for every month.
