Goal

Launch a client site only after the balance is paid, hand it over with a plain-English owner's guide, a short video walkthrough, the completed checklists and logins set up safely by the client, then ask for a testimonial, a Google review and a referral at the moment they're happiest.

Why this matters

The handover is the last thing your client experiences, and what they'll remember when a friend asks "who did your website?". A rushed handover ("here's the link, bye!") leaves them anxious: How do I see orders? What if I forget my password? Who do I call? A calm, organised one leaves them confident, and confident clients become your testimonials, your reviews, your referrals and your maintenance clients.

It's also where you protect yourself. A clear handover means fewer panicked calls at 9pm, a written record of what you delivered, and a clean line between "the project" and "the care plan".
