Create your tables by prompt
Switch the Supabase MCP to read-write for a few minutes, have Cursor create the dishes and orders tables and fill dishes with the six dishes, read every action before you approve it, check the result yourself in the Supabase dashboard, and switch back to read-only.
Why this matters
This is the moment Adjoa's Kitchen gets an order book. You'll describe two tables in plain English, Cursor will write the database code and, with your approval, run it inside Supabase.
You'll do three things today that you'll do on every back-end project for the rest of your career:
- Ask for the plan before the action. Cursor shows you the SQL first. You compare it with what you asked for, line by line, using a short checklist.
- Approve, don't assume. Each change only happens when you click Run.
- Check it yourself. The AI saying "Done!" isn't proof. The Supabase dashboard showing the table, with the right columns, is.
Keep the five MCP safety rules from Lesson 7.1 next to you. Today you'll use rules 2 and 3 for real.
