Deploy Adjoa's Kitchen with its keys
Push adjoas-kitchen to GitHub, deploy it to Vercel with its three environment variables, place a practice order from your phone on the live site, and see it arrive in Supabase.
Why this matters
Everything works on localhost. But a back end on your laptop isn't a back end anyone can use. Today, Adjoa's Kitchen goes on the internet, and the moment you place an order from your phone, on mobile data, and watch it appear in the database, you'll have built a real, working web application. That's the thing most AI tutorials never get to.
The deploy itself is almost the same as Lesson 3.7. There's one new step, and it's the one beginners miss: giving Vercel its own copy of the environment variables. Your .env.local never leaves your laptop (that's the point of it), so Vercel doesn't have the database address or key until you type them into its settings. Forget that step and the live site deploys "successfully" but can't load the menu. You'll do it right first time.
