Goal

Verify your domain in Resend by adding its SPF, DKIM and DMARC records through the Cloudflare MCP, switch your app's sender from the test address to your own domain, and prove an order confirmation reaches someone else's inbox. Optionally, get a hello@ address that forwards to your Gmail.

Why this matters

Since Module 8, your order emails have come from [email protected], and they've only been able to reach you. That was on purpose: a brand-new account can't email strangers, or spammers would use it. Today that limit goes away for your domain.

After this lesson, emails come from an address like [email protected], they carry proof that your domain allowed them, and they can reach any customer. That proof is what keeps confirmations out of the spam folder. A confirmation in spam is, to a customer, a confirmation that never came: they phone the business, or order twice, or don't come back.

And this is a client skill. Every site you build that sends emails will need these records on the client's domain. You'll learn them on your own first.
