Google Search Console
Prove to Google that you own your domain with a DNS record added by the Cloudflare MCP, submit your sitemap, ask Google to look at your Home page, and know which Search Console reports to check each month.
Why this matters
Google finds most sites eventually by following links. "Eventually" can mean weeks, and a brand-new site has almost no links pointing to it. Google Search Console is Google's free tool for site owners. It lets you say "here's my site, here's the list of pages", and then it shows you what Google sees: which pages it has in its index, which searches showed your site, how many people clicked, and anything that's broken.
It's also the place you'll prove your SEO work is doing something. In Lesson 12.8 you'll set a goal to rank for "website designer in [your city]". Search Console is where you'll watch that phrase climb, month by month. And for clients, a short monthly Search Console summary is one of the most valued parts of a maintenance plan (Module 14).
